Our teaching method

The Technical Director of the Federation is Sensei K. Williams. The teaching method has been specially developed by Sensei Williams to allow students to relate easily what is being taught on the mat to the outside world, and to bring this into daily life.

The Ki Federation of Great Britain is one of the largest and oldest Aikido organisations in the UK. Across the federation, we have a network of clubs and teachers committed to helping others learn this art.

Join friendly classes taught across Great Britain, Canada, France, and the Netherlands. We recognise the value of Aikido in daily life and believe it will benefit others too.

Our Home

Headquarters

We own our own Headquarters which includes a 200 square metre dojo, changing rooms, lounge, kitchen, office, and parking. The headquarters was built in the quiet village of Mark, in Somerset, and was officially opened by Sensei Williams on the 6th March 1999.

The HQ hosts regular classes, dan grade courses, and seminars throughout the year. Students from across the country travel to train here, and visitors are always welcome.
